M'Lord Donal and friends,
It appears that you are correct. Apparently the links don't work outside
the pages where they nest.
You can see the BBC version at
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/default.stm . Scroll down
and look along the right side for "Scotland's Big Picture".
To see the museum version, point your browser to Scottish National
Libraries or http://www.nls.uk . Click on "Digital Libraries", then
"Maps", followed by "Maps of the Whole of Scotland 1560-1928". From the
list select the first entry "1558-1566 - Anon - Scotia: Regno di
Scotia". This will get you to a page devoted to just the Forlani map,
which includes a blow-up link.
Sorry for problems. It all seemed so simple.
Kind regards,
Mungo Napier, Archer of Mallard Lodge
