[MR] update and thanks

first, i want to say thank you to all of those that emailed us since
saturday with their support and concern.  during my fight with duke alaric
"kneesbane" sartiano i received two quick blows inside the corner of my
right knee bypassing my armour.  needless to say it was very painful and i
lost all feeling in my foot for several hours (which later returned).  i
visited my ortho today and the result was that i have a small fracture to
the femur just below where the collateral ligament attaches to the bone.
the blow(s) also caused a small tear of that ligament.  the prognosis is
good and he says my knee is pretty stable.  i am in a "game day" knee brace
(like the ones for acl surgery) and have been prescribed a topical (gel) and
oral medication called voltaren.  healing should be quick and he doesnt
foresee any other issues with it.  the purpose of this email is simply to
answer as many folks as i can in one fell swoop.  again, thank you for the
overwhelming concern.  please know that i am touched by how close our little
society is.
