Greetings, All!
I wanted to give folks a gentle poke to remind them that we are in need of bids (well, at least *A* bid ;-) for the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Festival this upcoming March 6th. So far we've had no solid expressions of interest. If you have any questions, or are interested but think you need some help and guidance, feel free to contact me!

A few words about KASF. First, attendance the past several years has been in the 300-400 range. If you go and look at the requirements on the Kingdom event bid page, finding a site for this event appears to be daunting. It looks like it just needs everything. Ideally, we need a space that has a place for court, a place for folks to just hang out, space for A&S displays and competitions (both active and passive,) a bardic space, and classrooms. A kitchen, space for vigils, merchants, a royal room, and martial activities are also all desirable, as is the opportunity to allow our brewers to gather and have alcohol onsite. We're also open to other features if the hosts have some ideas.

All that said, don't let it scare you off. One possibility would be a large school -- a sizable high school would easily have all the facilities we need, and it's only inherent negative would be that it probably couldn't be a wet site. Another possibility would be a college -- at most colleges you would probably need access to more than one building to fill all the needs, but it could work depending on the campus layout. We do realize that it's a tough bill to fill, and I'd also be open to hearing creative solutions on this one.

I think I've taken up enough of everyone's time on this for the moment -- start thinking on it and as I said, if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know!
