OYEZ, OYEZ!!
Greetings unto the fair Kingdom of Atlantia from Mistress Rosalind
Jehanne, autocrat for the University of Atlantia. I am pleased to
welcome you all to the Canton of Crois Brigte in the Barony of the
Sacred Stone, and am at your service to assist in making your experience
a most enjoyable one. Pray attend to these latest heraldic announcements!
***Checking in will be in 2 phases - troll first, and then at the
University table. There is no fee for University, but donations are
always welcome.
***A bag lunch is available for 100 - It will be apple, cheese,
hardboiled egg, cold kielbasa or chicken, roll, pickle, and cookie.
Water, lemonade, and tea will be provided. The cost of lunch will
be $3, and is a fund raiser for our group. We will also have information
for finding food off-site.
***The weapons policy of WSSU is as follows: no guns on campus, not
even locked in your trunk. Swords or daggers used as costume are also
forbidden. SCA fighting gear for a class, such as rapiers or rattan are
OK. Tools for classes, such as craft knives, are ok.
***No open fires, but a teacher using a heat or light for a class is OK.
*** Our canton seneschal and his lady, Lord Robyn and Lady Aine (On-yuh)
are graciously hosting a post-revel and bardic circle at their home,
starting about 7:30 pm and ending whenever... Their address is 4926
Charnel Rd, Winston Salem, 27127. Come join us in partying, singing,
reveling, and dog and cat petting.
***A used book sale will be held as a Kingdom fundraiser - please bring
your beloved but no longer needed books, and make your bookshelves happy
by buying more books!
*** A heraldic consultation table will be available, so you can be left
to your own devices, and those of others as well.
***There will be outside pavilion area in the courtyard - but please
bring some seating or ground cover - also for the post-revel/ bardic as
well.
***If I can be of assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to
contact myself or my staff. We look forward to providing the University
staff and all our guests with a great day of fun, friendship, and an
opportunity for knowledge galore!
Yours in service to Atlantia and the Muses, M. Rosalind Jehanne
