[MR] SCA Demo at ConCarolinas (29-31 May)

The Barony of Sacred Stone is sponsoring a demo at Charlotte NC's ConCarolina's SciFi Convention. The Demo plans are to hold 2 SCA style tournaments. We are planning a Heavy Tourney to determine the King of Anarchia (A SCAesque Kingdom from John Ringo's Council Wars books). The second tourney is to be a rapier tourney to determine the next Dread Pirate Roberts. Unfortunatly the rapier tourney is currently in doubt, as I have not been able to find a rapier marshal for it. If you are are rapier marshal, and interested in participating, please contact me. To particpate in the Tourneys, or other SCA activities at the Con you must be a paid ConCarolina's participant. In addition to the tournies, there will be a historical armor competition, aswell as the guest of honer being the Scifi author Katherine Kurtz, she is also a former queen of the West Kingdom.
