[MR] question about altantias land at pennsic

Greetings from Logan Ebonwoulfe and Esa Kirkepatrike, Prince and Princess of
Atlantia,

Pennsic grows closer with each passing day and We begin to prepare for that
glorious event now.  We would ask for your advice and opinion on certain
matters concerning Pennsic so that We might hear the will of the Kingdom.



The question We put to you today concerns the Kingdom's land at Pennsic.
Last year Atlantia  had a typical Kingdom encampment with a large open space
for classes, gatherings and parties.  It is Our understanding that this was
very well received by all that attended except for one major problem, the
proximity to the interstate.  We are told that those attending the Bardic
Night could not always sing loud enough to be heard, the teachers had
trouble talking over the cars and court is simply impossible.  We have
already had inquiries about the possibility of having another Atlantian
Social (Spiked punch party), A&S classes and other gatherings.
Additionally, We would like to consider holding Court in Royal as opposed to
the fort this year.  To do these things Atlantian Royal might need to be
moved to a new location.  

A new location would have several advantages:

Being further from the interstate would allow for things such as court and
bardic to happen much more easily.

A more prominent location might allow the Kingdom camp to be located more
easily.

A new location would have the disadvantage of moving Atlantia from it's most
recent location.  This would mean that Atlantia would lose the lands granted
it by the Pennsic Accord which gives each kingdom a large amount of land.
As such the kingdom would only get the land afforded it by those that
register to camp there.  As we all know that is a small number.  Should our
Kingdom have a much smaller camp simply to move us away from the noise of
the interstate?  If more folks camped there we might have a large tract of
land but, obviously, we would have more people in camp.

We ask you, the citizens of Atlantia to tell Us your thoughts on this
matter.  Tell us your opinions and give us your advice as to the future of
the Atlantian Kingdom Lands.  Do you think that we should stay where We are
currently located or should we move our lands to another location at
Pennsic? 

While we understand that this will generate discussion on the list We would
offer to filed this discussion directly by sending His Highness an email at

Her Highness and I will do all We can to see it done.  If not, then it is a
moot point.  Either way We seek your counsel and thank you for your input.
