[MR] Hidden Mountain's 25th Birthday in THREE DAYS!!!!!

The sun was setting as the watch changed.  The officer of the deck turned to the
Captain, who arrived on the quarterdeck with the watch. “How are we, Mr.
Miller?”, BalckJack asked.  “All is well,
Captain.  We’ve just cleared Ilse des
Diamant, and should be seeing the sands of Tear Sea’s Shore by morning.  If the weather holds, we’ll be putting you
ashore in Leviathan’s Cove on Friday morn, for your trip through the Misty Marsh
to King’s Mountain.”
 
That’s right folks, the Mountain’s 25th birthday is
just a few days out!!!!!  Feast is full,
waiting list is being compiled, sacrifices to weather deities are being made….
Oh wait, I wasn’t supposed to admit that part, was I? **laughs**
Seriously though, as Lady Shae mentioned, it’s a new moon, so
it’d be easier ta see through a vat o’pitch than it will be to walk around the
Mountain in the dark!  The last thing any
of us here want is to be sendin anyone out to the hospital…. ((Just because
there are paramedics there, doesn’t mean any of them want to work!!!!  **laughs**))
 
There’s going to be lots of fighting, lots of good times with long
missed friends, and many new friendships to be made….  We’ve also got our music lined up and our
masks ready for the Ball, Painted Wheel is tuned up and ready to entertain everyone
during feast, and Lady Amanda is ready to host a rollicking Bardic Circle!!!
And don’t’ forget the Fundraising Raffle for the Royal travel
fund!  So far we’ve got a hand made
fighter box with gear promised, we’ve a collection of period inks and pigments
promised, a very nice dagger donated, a beadworker’s basket, and more!!!!  Tickets for those will be available near the
MoL table at the event, at $1 a piece, or 7 for $5!!!!
 
We’ve got several merchants confirmed, as well as breakfast
and lunch fundraising taverns!  ((Ye’ll definitely
want to try the meat pies that the folks in Myrtle Beach have cooked up, trust
me on that!!!!))
 
The Mountain is still standing strong, and creating Mayhem
after 25 years, and ready for the next 25….
