The year is 1296, and William Wallace has returned from his travels abroad. Call him anything, but never call him late for a party!
The festive activities are just getting started, so come join us for a day of good old-fashioned fightin', traditional highland games, camaraderie & frolicking...and of course, the Ceilidh!


Friday night:
Retalio Primo Nocte (Torchlight Tourney)-- The peasants revolt to protect the virtue of their maidens from the lusty loins of the local baron & his minions. 
Travelers' Fare--hosted by House Barra, at the Tavern (picnic shelter). $5 per plate. See website for menu.


Saturday:
Participation in the Highland games is open to the populace!
Activities will include the sheaf toss, hammer throw, caber toss, stone put, and knife/axe throw. Yes, there will be a shoot for the archery junkies. For the heavy fighters, there will be a tavern brawl. See website for more info, including video examples.

A&S will sport a romantic/ Scottish theme, and includes a brewing competition.

Who will be named Braveheart for overall achievement of the day? Prizes will be awarded during The Feast!

The Ceilidh [pr. KAY-lee, Scottish version of the Hafla] will follow the feast with music, bardic stuff & dancing!

Feast: Matsudaira Kentarou Toshiyori (aka Oshi) (Oshi at triad.rr.com) will prepare a sumptuous feast with some Scottish dishes, including a roasted pig. Menu TBA.
