second floor of the Bard Exhibit about  English Embroidery of 1580-1700 called 
'Twixt Art and Nature" with a description  by curator Andrew Morall. The items 
are from the Metropolitan Museum of Art  collection, and include an 
embroidered jacket like the one being recreated at  Plimoth Plantation.

The gloves all have bobbin lace on them, as does the jacket, although you  
really can't get a good view of it.
