For anyone needing firewood for Gulf Wars, I can recommend Hank Smith who

lives about 5 miles from site.  He primarily deals in nice dry split oak but

also has some hickory and pecan available.  I've dealt with him for several

years.



His rate for the oak is $90 for a truckload delivered and stacked where you

want it.  He won't make the trip for less than a truckload but is quite

willing to make multiple stops on site if you want to split a truckload with

others.



You'll need to contact him directly to arrange purchase and meet him at the

gate to escort your firewood to your campsite(s).



He does charge less if you pick up the firewood at his place.
