[MR] question about altantias land at pennsic

I note everyone talking of traffic.I pose look at it this way..couple pennsics ago there was a bad accident on the road near war.How lucky were the people involved that there were people there to help take instant charge till services got there.Yes traffic is annoying but how much worse might it have been had we not heard it happen and been close to rush in? Pennsic is filled wih all kinds of sounds/noises..it's what makes it war.Theres always ear plugs =)

I haven't been to Pennsic since Pennsic 30, and even back then people called the traffic noise 'horrendous'. Not me, though I admit the truck honking is annoying. I put this down to having lived in urban areas for most of my life so the noise doesn't register as much. But I'd be interested to know if there has been a noticeable increase in traffic and noise over the last 8 years (and since whenever it was that the Accord was negotiated). And other than tradition, why was that area of land chosen to begin with?
