Come join the fun Saturday March 14th for the Feast of St. Pyr. The Feast of Saint Pyr has become an annual event to celebrate the life and amusements of our most favored saint,Pyr (520 AD).Since he was known for his love of imbibing, which eventually led to his falling down a well and drowning,we take this opportunity to celebrate brewing in it's many forms, as well as other forms of the Arts and Sciences.
Come one and all to celebrate with us our favored saint, St. Pyr in a day of classes, competition, eating, toasting and dancing.Scroll and Brewing head up the competitions with classes and fellowship during the day. Dancing and revelry are scheduled for the evening activities. So wear your dancing shoes! And bring out your best concoctions.
In keeping with our most honored Saint's modesty and piety,we are offering a light fare,(as to not slow the toasting and dancing)with a simple non-period feast of breads, butters, cheese and soups. Feast is limited to 70 gentles.Remember your feast gear!
Site opens at 10 am and closes at 11pm, those gentles on site after 11pm become members of the clean up crew.
