[MR] brewing at Sapphire Joust!

There will be a brewing competition and a (better prepared) reprise of my Winter University seat-of-the-pants-I'm-not-wearing Mead 101 class at Sapphire Joust this spring.  Competition categories include beer/ale, mead/wine, and, to compliment the A&S theme of the day, the best use of the sapphire gem in presentation.  This means you could brew something entirely different, and not enter your beverage but just your presentation.  We might want to taste your beverage anyway.  There will be prizes.  There will be grins.  It'll be a good time.  I'll see you there!
