It is my great pleasure to announce that Baroness Isabel d'Avignon has
graciously agreed to become the new Editor of The Oak. Her Excellency comes
well qualified and I am confident she will easily surpass my humble efforts
in the office. Please give her your support as she learns the ropes (and

I have greatly enjoyed my term of office, but mundane duties now demand I
focus my time and energy elsewhere. My sincere thanks to all of you who
