Curriculum Vite
Seasonal Themes (something for summer, something for St. Catherine's Feast 
day, etc.)
Courtly Love (yes, even vikings can do courtly love!)
Themes on a color, or an element of a coat of arms (make sure there's 
adequate notice for these kinds of competitions)
Something Arthur would have used (given the span of the Arthurian legends 
more than spans our time period, anyone could make just about anything!)

The possibilities are endless!

But when the A&S theme is "Leatherwork" or "C&I" or "Subtelties" or some 
other specific thing, that leaves out anyone who doesn't do that kind of 
thing.  It makes judging a bit easier, but limits your entrants.

Specific categories scattered throughout the year are great!  But too many 
of them will leave some artisans with no competitions to enter for a long 
time.

Write privately if you have questions about any of Everyman category.  I've 
either entered, created or run all those categories.
