Many thanks to all who have contributed money and articles for The Oak. My
short time in office has seen generous donations from all parts of the
Kingdom. The next issue is taking shape nicely and should make its
appearance in June. But that is not to say that the need has passed; we
have barely half of what we need (money and articles) for the remainder of
the year.

Towards that end, I am making a plea to the artisans of this great Kingdom.
The Oak will be holding a fundraising auction at Atlantian 20 Year
Celebration. I am asking all, whether Master or novice, to consider making
a piece for the auction block. It need not be a great work, just something
that would be enjoyed by the populace. All contributions, from a simple
pouch to a jewel-encrusted throne, will be useful and appreciated. Okay,
so maybe the jewel-encrusted throne is a stretch, but you get the idea.

If you have any questions about the auction or would like to make a
submission to The Oak, please write (oak at atlantia.sca.org) or call (I'm in
the regnum).

Thus hoping you will supply my boldness with your bounty and affability, I
humbly desire pardon for my tediousness.

Your obedient servant,

Fin
