One more invitation to come to Elchenburg Castle this weekend for the Kingdom Archery Championship. The weather is supposed to be glorious summer days and soft summer nights to great the Solstice. We'll have a delicious dayboard set out with roast chicken, baked ham, three sauces for the meats, apples, grapes, breads, herbed butter, honey butter, cheeses, nuts, sekunjabin, lemonade, water and cookies.

The shoots will be amazingly challenging. The companionship amazingly good.

In the evening there is a feast for those lucky enough to have gotten seats and that to be followed by a bardic circle round a fire.

Bring your chairs, your drink of choice and your stories and songs. Don't forget your laughter. This looks to be a weekend of relaxation and good times.

Gate opens at 5 pm Friday. Bow inspections will be set up then and again beginning at 9 the next morning. Shooting begins at 10 and ends at 3. Court opens at 4 to award prizes and archery medallions.
