"Does anyone have any ideas on what type of glue I could use to repair a
peace pipe that would be nontoxic when heated?
fergus"
What is your pipe made of, typically they are made from "pipe stone"
catlinite: however, I have seen them made from soap stone, antler, wood, and
other rocks that are soft enough to be carved.
Truth is, each can be fixed, but with different stuff. Let me know and I
will send you information on fixing your personal pipe. Another thought to
consider is that maybe you have outgrown the pipe you are using and that it
may be time to move forward with another pipe.
Over the course of my life, I have made approximately 20 pipes and they have
all gone on to different people. As I type this I am making another pipe so
that I will have one for the next sweat lodge.
