As corrected it was Fearghus mac Domhaill in the finals and therefor the same who won the Marksmen arrow.

Subject: [MR] Kingdom Archery Championship - the next Royal Archer

Greetings from the outgoing Royal Archer,
>
>I must give a great and huge thanks to the Barony of Sacred Stone, Lady
>Gisela, and all of the event staff, I could not have hoped for a better
>event to put forth the shoot as the next Kingdom Archery Championship.  The
>day board was huge, the feast scrumptious, the water endless, and the
>setup/teardown help plentiful.  And many of these gentles who put in hard
>work and sweat I did not get to properly meet and chat with until Saturday
>at the Feast!  Thank you for all your hard work.
>
>To my Lady, Baroness Amalia, thank you for your endless work on not
>painting, but illuminating, target faces only to watch all that work get
>shoot at, and documenting every last one to boot!  They were without a doubt
>the prettiest targets ever to grace an archery range.  And to m'lord Andreas
>as teenage slave labor before, during and (you don't know it yet but) after,
>shleaping targets, fetching whatever, testing targets (yeah as if you minded
>THAT part), and generally being helpful.
>
>I hope that everyone who made the trip had a fun day of shooting was our
>next Royal Archer was chosen.  From the endless string of smiles and
>compliments *all* followed by "you're evil" I gather that the level of fun,
>yet challenging, shoots was perfect.
>
>Now for what everyone else wants to know, the winner is....
>
>
>
>
>Well lets see, besides the championship shoot itself, there was a scavenger
>hunt.  Hidden on all the targets were tools of the hunting trade.  For which
>there was a three way tie, each having found 14 of the 17 tools, Lord
>Geoffrey, Lady Nuala, Lord Theodore.
>
>The absolutely gorgeous prize arrows which Lady Esperanza made, each with
>King Logan's arms (King and personal), Queen Esa's arms (Queen and
>personal), Sacred Stone's arms as host, my own arms as outgoing Royal
>Archer, the Royal Round Badge emblem, Spike (cause this is Atlantia), and as
>if all that wasn't enough, a good bit of celtic knot work too.  These went
>to the days highest scoring archer with a current Royal Round average of
>each rank:
>Archer - Lord Adreas
>Marksman - Lord Janyn
>Bowmen - Lady Treya
>Bowmen Elite - Lady Loreli
>Grand Bowmen Elite - Lord Seamus
>
>The Barony of Sacred Stone provided prizes for the seven runners up in the
>finals who were:
>8 - Lady Nuala
>7 - Lord Fergus Fletcher
>6 - Lord Janyn Fletcher
>5 - Lord Geoffrey
>4 - Lord Miles de Locwode
>3 - Lady Lorelei Greenleaf
>2 - Lord Valgard av Mors
>
>Now I must say that of all the finals I've seen and been in, this was the
>most evenly matched I have ever seen.  Every one of these gentles shot
>exceptionally well, and in every one of the matches except one, both gentles
>were shooting at the final target at the same time , and had put at least
>one arrow at it before someone got the winning shot.
>
>So with out any more delay, the new Atlantian Royal Archer, announced in the
>court of Baron Axle and Baroness Jeanmaire, with the grace of their
>Majesties King Logan and Queen Esa, is Lord Samuel Calvert of Gidiehall from
>the Canton of Sudentorre in the Barony of Stierbach.
>
>In Service,
>Baron Jonathas
>outgoing Royal Archer
