and dont forget the heralds!!  looking at the website it seems several teams
do not have a committed herald yet.  anyone wishing to get their feet wet at
field heralding should consider attending the event and offering their
services.  i know that countess rowans team is shy a herald at the moment
(hint hint!!).  being on her team i would, of course, offer to do that job
myself but trust me, nobody wants to hear me do that.  it would be horrific
at best.  8^O

Greetings unto the Tavern,

Just a few short days remain until the Golden Rose Tournament and we look
forward to seeing many of you there.

Not picked for a team?  I would still encourage any and all gentles
authorized in either Armored or Rapier combat to bring their gear.  Archers,
bring your bows, for one never knows which way the winds may blow.

Unexpected issues do arise and this would be chance for someone to be able
to step up and assist the Ladies of the Rose should they find themselves in
need.
