Northern Army!

It is but a shaved two months to the great war in shade of Mount Eislinn. Between now and then, a war of Summer brews deep in the heart of Caer Mear. His Majesty will review our standing at Elchenburg Castle.

How could we, then, show poorly ourselves on the raven's plate? With such eyes upon us? As much success and glory our name has gained in the season past? It is unthinkable!

We trained hard last spring, and it has continued in our Baronies and Shires all these months since. Come now and remember that we also must gather all-together to make the greatest strides at war-play. 

The proud and strong Baronies of Storvik and Dunn Carraig have come together to hold Novice Tourney and Challenge of the Heart in one place. Come forward, and earn the chips in your blades and cracks in your shield. Come forward, daring ones, and avail yourselves to battle schooling to follow the next day, at that same place.

Or without all the poetry.... The Northern Army continues the path to Pennsic. Dunn Carraig and Storvik have graciously offered to hold open the Croom Station site through Sunday (21 June) for the Army to Muster for Training. The rally will be called at 11am. 

We've done well in the last two years. But, skills need to be practiced to keep sharp. New things must be learned to ever-improve.

Barons bring your levies! Commanders bring you footmen! Shield grunts drag your buddies behind you! Don't let your chums down when you're needed most. Train hard. Train often. Know the ones you stand beside, and the ones who stand beside them.
