For those who have smart phones (Blackberry/IPhone/and the like and who know
that the GPS in their phone [every phone is required to have GPS now
- usually a
triangulation of cell towers - but some can use the satellites) is true GPS and
keep the Location set to always on [instead of just E911 only], there is a neat
application to help.
<http://www.trapster.com/>http://www.trapster.com/ Trapster is an
application that the users of find and
log (right from their phones) where police trap / Hide / RedLight cams etc. it
is free and if you look at the website then you will see you can use it on a
regular GPS device too. Where I am (Shire of Endewearde - Central/Eastern
Maine) our info is spotty as Trapster has not caught on up here.
For those whom have phones that are Bluetooth - you can find Bluetooth GPS
receivers that you can charge and put on your keychain on EBay - if you find a
good deal it is cheaper than a speeding ticket.
On to Traffic Tickets and trying to fight them yourself. On the Supreme court
of the United States is written "Justice for All" in our society it should read
"Justice for those who can afford it" -- the bottom 10% of Americans are low
income enough to be granted the privilege of Legal Aid -- the top 10% of
Americans have the means to have a lawyer - where does that leave the rest of
us?
Enter Prepaid Legal Services, Inc. - a 30 year old NYSE traded company that
provides affordable coverage to all.
many nowadays can not afford health insurance because the costs are so high -
but did you know that in our litigious society you are more likely to be in a
court room than a hospital room?
Depending on your state the coverage can be as low as $26.00 a month? Check out
this site for more information - and to sign up
<http://www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/mainenotarynet>http://www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/mainenotarynet
this site has two functions to
give you more info on the Prepaid Legal Services and sign up for them
- and also
to allow you to become an associate yourself and help spread the
service to your
network of friends/family/co-workers and people you meet that you may overhear
on a bus or wherever talking about their legal issues - hey if you can help why
don't you.
That's all I got for now - Have a fun Pensic and be safe - Watch out for those
speed traps.
