[MR] Final Summer War Update

Last time, I promise.  :-) 

The weather looks as good as anyone can ask for in July in Virginia.  Highs will be in the mid-80s on Saturday with low humiditym, a bit of a breeze, and no rain is scheduled.  Perfect SCA weather!

As of tonight's count, we have 9 merchants coming out with a wonderous variety of goods to offer, including garb, furniture, and music.

A cautionary note: speeding in Virginia is, in general, a risky habit, but rarely moreso than on holiday weekends.  Today, in the 20 mile drive between the the populous part of Chesterfield and the site in Amelia County, I saw two Chesterfield County patrolmen, two state troopers, and one sheriff.  The roads are being closely watched (even more than usual in Amelia and I have been stopped there...twice) so be aware of your speed; it does run anywhere from 50 MPH to 65 MPH along 360 once you are west of the Woodlake area of Chesterfield (i.e., the end of "civilization").
