[MR] Public use of the term "medieval"

It's your business to put whatever stickers or whatnot you'd like on your
car. It's personal expression. You don't have to explain it to anyone if
you don't want to.

It still follows that you're not going to change public perception with or
without something as small as a bumper sticker or necklace. People will
believe what they want when they want, how they want. We can take steps to
help them correct their ignorance, but in the end it really is up to them
what they believe.

My mother referred to the SCA as a "cult" until her dying day and no matter
what I did, I couldn't change her thought on that subject although I tried;
boy did I try!. In the end I had to let her have her own belief, and I went
on my merry way.

To sum it up, we all have to choose what's right for us; you can't make
everyone love you no matter how hard you try. There are ignorant people
everywhere in every level of society.

Under no circumstances will I ever purchase anything offered to me
as the result of an unsolicited e-mail message. Nor will I forward
chain letters, petitions, mass mailings, or virus warnings to large
numbers of others. This is my contribution to the survival of the
online community.
