[MR] round table discussion on special needs at Pennsic

For those going to Pennsic this year.  I am sponsoring a round table discussion on "Following the dream even with children with Special Needs."  My husband and I have two little guys with Autism and in our barony we have little ones with severe food allergies and medical needs.  I am looking for folks to come chat about how do we (the parents) come best prepared to an event, how we(the SCA) can accomodate these folks, how we(the barony) can best support them and how do we educate eachother best about the needs around us.  

Do you know of a family with special needs of some sort that successfully is able to attend events and enjoy them as much as others?  How do they do it?  How do you support them?  Leaving the kids at home with a babysitter, while the easiest answer, is not the correct answer to this question.  

My "class" is Wednesday 8/5 at 9am.  The results of this gathering will be written up and shared with others whom have contacted me disappointed that they were not going to make it to Pennsic but would have loved to come for whatever reason.  Please help make this round table a success.  Cross post as you will please.
