I've discouraged at different points in being in the SCA and its the
people who can find humor and make this game fun again. I've only been
playing for 2 1/2 years and could have had plenty of reasons to quit
because I felt people weren't being fair in their judgments and
assessments in certain situations. Quite frankly I deal with enough
junkola and political bs from being military. But what I enjoy about
the SCA is simply what I make of it. I enjoy scribing and love it even
more when people enjoy what I create. I may spend weeks making a
scroll in my free time never to see it again. Then I love the sense or
commederie(sp?) on the archery field as well as heavy fighting. I love
chilling at bardics etc etc... Basically everything I enjoy isn't
found on an egroup list. Its in reality, at home scribbling away or at
an event.

Thank you your Grace again for reminding us its okay to smile. Let me
know if you have a scroll on the backlog; I would love to make it for
ya.


I think we should all agree to disagree, shake hands and work towards
a common goal not destruction.
