i happen to agree that the ignorant will see this as something to do with
satan (i do live in the notch of the bible belt here in south carolina) or
whatever "bad guy" deity and the sca will suffer should someone display it
at a demo, it end up on a website or youtube, what have you.  bad choice in
my opinion.  as an atheist i find all religious symbols to be the same and
am unaffected emotionally by any of them.

however, i am dismayed at how much attention this subject gets yet we still
have folks that sit in coleman chairs under ez-ups and any time ive brought
up my disdain for these wholly unnecessary things in our society i am often
labeled as an elitist bent to make the sca impossible for the poor college
student.  for the last 6 years or so ive been talking about it and i see so
few people concerned enough to throw away their little bag chairs.  weird.
