Friends,

I have a cherished book, "Croatia in the Early Middle Ages: A Cultural Study," Ivan Supicic ed. 1999, which has a gorgeous, full page photo of a tablet from the altar screen in the church of St. Peter in Solin, where King Zvonimir's coronation took place in the 11th c.   This tablet is a pentagram in a wreath, and includes several birds and rosettes.

Irrespective of reasons why any might identify with the pentagram, it is undoubtedly period.

Please contact me off-list if you need this photo for your documentation.
