[MR] Database of English Medieval Soldiers

Fellow Atlantians, Greetings.

The following story popped up on today's BBC new feed: 
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8160081.stm . In summary, the new 
piece concerns a huge database of information about English medieval 
soldiers that has been assembled and put on line by researchers at the 
University of Southampton and the University of Reading. The actual data 
base is found at: http://www.icmacentre.ac.uk/soldier/database/som.php . 
This should prove a fascinating and useful resource for understanding 
the English army in the 14th and 15th centuries. Well worth bookmarking 
for when y'all return from Pennsic.
