[MR] Alternate Non-toll route to Pennsic

We usually just take the Toll Road because it is the shortest and generally fastest route. 

 

However, another alternative is to take I-68 across Maryland to Morgantown, WV, then going north on I-79. All interstate, no tolls. We use this route a couple of time a year to visit parentals in Indiana. 

 

I-68 is a lovely drive, but it is hilly, so not the best with a trailer. I-79 is usually under construction/repair. Traffic is generally moderate. You do have to deal with Pittsburgh traffic. 

 

This route joins I-270 just south of Breezewood.
