thats sounds very cool! thanks cog for putting that together.

and lets not forget the training lottery that is going on this weekend. you
need not be present to win nor to volunteer. visit the website
www.ebonwoulfe.com/ka.htm for more information and to purchase tickets.
again, thank you to baron matthew of battle for creating the site and the
very cool online ticket buying option. take a look at the avatars he has
created for the instructors heraldry. baron matthew, a very talented man,
is even offering to create these images for you (see website for more
details).

you can also purchase tickets on site or via any member of the staff prior
to the event. just be sure to indicate which instructor(s) you want your
ticket(s) to go to. this is an excellent opportunity for households,
cantons, baronies, etc to purchase tickets as well. largess is a chivalric
virtue but you dont have to be a knight in order to display it. heck, im
buying a dozen or so tickets for myself. some for my own education and some
to use as gifts for others. households, you can purchased tickets under
your groups name and then decide who in your group gets to have that hour of
instruction. there are many classes being offered and the list of talent is
very impressive.

see you guys this weekend!!

regards
logan

Subject: [MR] Fw: Kings Assessment - archery

Kings Assessment, July 10 - 12, Elchenburg Castle Site, archer assessment.
So here is the latest on the Pennsic War point shoots for archery:

Castle Clout shot - Warrior at about 100 yards inside a 20 foot diameter
circle (will be a foam castle at Pennsic). In front of this from 50 to 70
yards is a 10 yard wide alley. 1 point for arrow in alley, 2 points for
arrow in castle. 3 points for arrow in warrior. 6 arrows, untimed.

Advancing Troops - Warriors at 40, 50, 60 yards with guards at 15 yards. 6
arrows, untimed. 1 point for guard, 2 point for hit at 40, 3 points for hit
at 50, 4 points for hit at 60. Only one scoring arrow per target for adults.
Youth can load up on 15 yard targets, all shafts count.

Guarded Castle Window - 30 seconds timed. Castle window 4 X 36 inches with a
guard on each side at 30 yards. 2 additional guards at 10 yards. 1 point for
guards at 10 yards, 2 points for warriors at 30 yards, 4 points for arrows
in castle window slot.

These shoots will occur on the hour starting at 10 am and the last one at 3
pm. In the mean time there will be lots of other targets for archers to
challenge each other or groups challening groups. Your choice. Beads can be
purchased 10 for $1, proceeds to go to the Arielle Travel for Treatment
Fund. Winners collect a bead, losers give one up. Archer with most won beads
at day's end wins a cool prize (all the top Atlantian archers have one).
