Greetings to the list!
The (current) forecast for Ice Castles is sunny, with temps around 40. I've
been watching it closely, and it's been switching back and forth between
mostly sunny to clear. Updates here:

We will be fighting outside unless the field conditions are such that I feel
it is unsafe. There is plenty of indoor room if we need it.
For Rapier, Armor inspections and authorizations start at 9:00. For Armored,
Armor inspections begin at 10:00.
The key here is time. We have a lot to get done, and everything is designed
so that pickups and training should start no later than 12:45-13:00. In that
light, If you have a team (armored or rapier), would you please write me
*off list* so I can go ahead and get the cards made up this week. I just
need team name and the folks that are on it. This will hopefully save us and
the MOL's time on the morning of the event. This will of course also give us
a rough idea of the number of fighters to plan for as well. Tourney format
will most likely be round robin unless the number of teams makes that
unwieldy.
If you do not have a team, please let me know as well and I will set up a
list of folks to make things easy for you to find each other and get ready
quickly the morning of the event.
Sir William Thomas and I have a full day of fighting planned, so that
everybody should come away well satisfied.
