[MR] OT: Ireland Travel

Hailing those with Irish travel experience.

Mistress Rosalind and I are planning to take a belated Honeymoon/Vacation in 
Ireland with an emphasis on the Southwest - Counties Cook & Kerry.  These 
are where my ancestors immigrated from. We would love suggestions regarding 
travel agencies used and some best practices to make the most out of the 
trip.
Time of year to visit advice would also be helpful.
I plan to consult guides such as Fodors and the Irish government tourism 
websites, but know well the value of the voices of experience.
