[MR] Candle wax

We don't have too much of a problem with wax in our tablecloths, for two reasons:

1. Our linens are much more colorful than our candles (nearly all of my candles are white or off white)
2. We don't much care about the drippings.

I mean, presumably, we are living in a time period where wax drippings are authentic perils of fine dining. If our linens look a bit used...well, so be it. ;-)

But I understand the problem, especially with other people's linens.

I think we manage to get most or all of the wax off fairly easily, although I admit I don't pore over our stuff with a fine tooth comb. If it doesn't have food or mildew or dirt on it, we're good.

I scrape off as much as I can. Ice will cause more to fall off, but I dont' usually bother. Launder tablecloth in hot water and soap. If it leaves a grease spot, I treat for a grease stain...just reactivate the grease with a little Goo Gone or some WD40 (a marvelous stain remover, believe it or not.), then use a a little Dawn on the grease spot. Then launder in hot water again.
