[MR] 4th Peerage

I am going to explain why I think it doesn't add anything. Maybe then
you and others who believe that the three current peerages are "the man"
can find a different conspiracy to accuse us of. Really, you can do
better than this.

I do not believe there will be even one more person made eligible for
peerage with the advent of a fourth peerage. I believe the three polled
peerage orders, as they stand, get almost every peer they should.
Certainly, every person has at least one example of someone who should
be a peer and aren't. I certainly do. Having a fourth peerage isn't
going to fix the system, do it is a waste of time and a big change for,
I believe, essentially nothing. The current orders have to do better.
That's it.

Psychologically,?individuals in power are not willing to share that power, because it makes them less powerful.??It is not a matter of worthiness, it is a matter of "its mine and you can't have any...because I said so."?

Just because something isn't fair, doesn't mean we can't endeavor to make it more so.?The addition of another peerage to include other combat forms, Archery, Siege, Rapier, etc would only?enhance the?SCA dream and make it fun for more people.
