So Gorm, if you're expected to be "in the know" about things such as this,
what have you done to educate yourself? Have you asked TRH or TRM directly?
They've been at many events recently. Have you asked any Peers about what
they know? There's a couple of Peers local to you (including your Baron and
myself) so it should be easy to pick one you are comfortable to talk with
that won't take much effort.
But instead it looks like you're jumping to conclusions about supposed
selectivity of petition signing and other concerns and then posting your
negativity publically without seeming to make an effort to understand first.
On the one hand, people (not just you) complain about how things aren't
being done "openly". On the other hand people, sometimes even the same
people, are complaining about trials by public opinion. You can't have it
both ways. There's a fine line that TRM and TRH have asked people to walk
in this matter. It's not easy and it's not perfect but its what we have
right now.
Make an effort to answer your questions in a venue that is appropriate, one
on one. If you don't feel you got an unbiased opinion, find someone else
and ask them. It is possible to ask questions and give answers without
spreading hearsay, really it is.
