Dear Friends,

I would like to invite all skalds, scops, bards, gleomen, harpers,
troubadours, poets, singers, tellers of tales, puppeteers, players,
musicians and actors (as well as avid listeners and any other performers
that I forgot) to a Bardic Circle at the upcoming Tournament of Ymir on
the 14th of February in the fair lands of Windmasters Hill. We will
begin the circle around 9:00 in the evening, and continue as long as
inspiration moves us.

Please consider this circle to be a chance to relax at the end of a long
day, to share a song or verse, to tell of the day's exploits or to
simply enjoy the company of friends. This will not be a competition and
all are invited to perform. Any subject appropriate to our Society is
welcome, though I particularly invite pieces that evoke the Northern
lands and peoples, or that honor St. Valentine, whose feast day it will
be. Those wishing to offer a piece in celebration of Lupercalia are
requested to wait until the children have gone to bed. :)

I will have a small selection of sweets and savories to pass, but all
are encouraged to bring additional food and beverage, keeping in mind
that alcohol is not welcome on site.

As we are planning to be outside at the fire circle (weather permitting,
otherwise in the main hall) please plan to bring warm clothing. You may
also wish to bring your own chair and drinking vessel.

I look forward to seeing and hearing many of you just six evenings from
now.

In Service and Song,

-- Galeran Chanterel
