Yes is was a great event.  the fighting was awesome and though the weather started out bad it ended well.

But I would like to take this moment to thank everyone that came to my Squiring to Count Sinclair Hawkins.  It was a powerful moment for me just for the Squiring but me being surrounded by my new family, friends and the fellow populous that reside in the kingdom and any that may have come from out of kingdom for Ymir was a nice topping to the experience.

For those who missed it Ymir was again a wonderful event! Two investitures,
weather that was most unusual for Ymir (The sun was shining most of the day gods
forbid!) the presence of Their Highnesses, Their Majesties, and some out of
Kingdom royalty really made that event special and that was just at the morning
court! Of course when I was MOLit ing for youth and I heard one mother telling
how her son had once told her that when some kids make him made at school he
"just wanted to put them in armor and beat the crap out of them!" I
had to respond "at least he wanted to do it safely!" All of this was
topped off on the way home by something my husband did that had me laughing
really hard. We had a rather rude driver cute us off and when my husband honked
the horn I put my hand on his arm an said "Honey lets just go home"
and he looked at me with murder in his eyes (Did I mention he is slightly
tempermental?) and said "I have axes!" (He was the thrown
weapons Marshall for Ymir) I realized it was a truly fitting end to a truly
SCAdian day.... For those who missed it I feel for you but there is always next
year!
She who is truly tired and truly happy,
