And the Knights swan-diving from the second-story walkway into the...tennis
court? Scenic Garden? Who knows what it was under all that snow? Kane
talking my eldest son to do the same without "because then you can be like a
knight". The snowball fight down in the same courtyard. Brokk's snow
sculpture in the bed of his truck. All the folks with 4-wheel drive who
volunteered to help the City authorities with drugstore and baby-milk
deliveries. 

The all-day pun contest, led by Lord (now Master) Aedan in the lobby; the
gamers who took over one conference room to play marathon sessions while the
Hafla went all day and all night in the other, the folks who helped the
maids with room service/laundry. Duchess Seonaid helping the kitchen staff
figure out what they could cook and serve from their supplies (since they
couldn't expect any deliveries and we were packed in there like sardines).

Our Royals, Brigit especially, manning brooms and buckets at need...


That was a winter event to remember!
