18 to 20 years ago at Pennsic, somebody hada huge falcon of owl or something on a perch like staff thingy that he used to stand at the back of great court with...i found out later it was a video recorder.... was really kind of cool

A bucktonite from years past made up a box that he carried on his shoulder (kinda like a stevedore) with the camera inside. Couldn't see it at all. And that was back when camcorders were BIG.  Should be relatively easy/lightweight to do now.
