[MR] "Agecrott" hall correction

Yep, Maymont is fabulous- I got married in the Japanese Garden at the foot of the waterfall.  I'm a Richmond native.  :-)

Especially if you're going in the spring, I would definitely not do all 3 in one day.  Maymont is a 100-acre estate, and that's a lot of walking to see the whole thing, plus you'll want to spend time roaming the gardens and grounds of the other 2.  If you're taking kids, allow extra time in Maymont's animal habitats/Children's Farm.  Whether you have kids or not, a picnic lunch on the lawn under one of Maymont's huge trees is a lovely respite.

That would be a marvelous weekend, though.  The azalea/dogwood/redbud extravaganza peaks mid-April most years.

Lord Barcsi and Lady Kat,

Don't forget that these two places are just a couple of miles from
Maymont (just East beyond Route 195). Maymont is a similarly preserved
Victorian, obviously out of our era, but it is a wonderful place to
visit and has a very nice garden with a huge artificial waterfall. I
doubt that you could do all three in a day though.

Kind regards,
