What is the PP and the PT?
Persona Pentathlon is a competition where each entrant submits 5 (five) items that a single persona would have owned or used. Your entry does NOT have to be YOUR persona. But the five items need to be for one persona. There are five catagories and 3 of your five items must be from 3 different categories.
Persona Triathlon is for youth entrants who must have 3 THREE different items that relate to a single persona.
Each item must have separate documentation.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you wish to enter a RESEARCH PAPER as one of your category entries, you MUST contact me so that we can arrange to have your paper read BEFORE KASF. RESEARCH PAPERS (as a category 5 entry) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS ENTRIES ON THE DAY OF KASF.
THE FIVE CATAGORIES ARE: (items given are examples and are not limited to...)
STUDIO ARTS:
examples are - bookbinding, drawing, illumination, sculpture, wood carving etc.
CLOTHING AND NEEDLE ARTS:
examples are - bead-work, costuming, clothing accessories, hats, knitting, embroidery, etc.
PYROTECHNICA:

DOMESTIC ARTS ANS SCIENCES

COURTLY ARTS:

I would be happy to send you copies of the judging forms so that you can better prepare your entries. I am also happy to consult with anyone about what categories their entries might fall under so that they meet the entry requirements.
