Subject: [MR] Kingdom events: KASF, Coronation, and June University

Greetings, all!
Today, it seems we have a three-for-one deal on event announcements. ;-)

The Coronation of Jason and Gerhild will be held by the Stronghold of
Raven's Cove the weekend of April 9-11th (thereby avoiding conflict with
Easter weekend.) Raven's Cove also hosted last spring's Coronation, and
would have also hosted the previous fall's Coronation if it weren't for the
niggling little problem of Hurricane Hanna.

Both KASF (March 6th) and June University (June 5th) will be hosted by the
Barony of Tir-y-don. In addition to the bids we accepted, they also bid on
another recent University, and have expressed tentative interest in at least
one more upcoming event.

I'd really like to commend both these groups, not just for bidding on these
events, but for bidding on events repeatedly. I really appreciate their
enthusiasm and follow-through. Much as I am enjoying this job, without bids,
there would be an awful lot of me climbing on a soapbox here in the tavern
and whining/pleading/begging for bids. I'm sure everyone out there gets as
tired of that as I do. It's groups like Raven's Cove and Tir-y-don that make
the process easier.

Thanks to everyone who expressed interest in hosting any of these three
events. If you have interest in bidding for an upcoming event and are unsure
of yourself or have questions, I am more than happy to help. There's no such
thing as a dumb question, and I'm certainly willing to hold someone's hand
through the process if needed. Just ask :-)
