We had some wonderful entries in the Tempore Atlantia competitions that
concentrated on the period from 1250-1492 at coronation this past weekend .
Congratulations to Lady Lidia de Ragusa who went home with prizes for Best
Display, Best in Show and Best Knitted Woven or Handspun Item for her
extensive study in cotton in period. Congratulations are also in order for
Baron James de Biblesworth for Best Short Form Documentation for his
delightful 14th century poulaine. A special thank you goes out to Lady
Amarath Jean yr Raven, Christine of Marinus and Kataryzna Witkowska who took
the time to bring their fine work. I just love seeing what the artists of
this glorious Kingdom can produce!

I would like to take this time to thank the judges that took part as well.
Without your diligence and expertise, this series could not take place. It's
always such a pleasure to get to work with the Tempore competitions and this
was no exception. Special thanks go to Lady Griele who ran the competition
on short notice and to Lady Kaolin for transporting the box of doom!

The next installment of Tempore Atlantia will take place at Spring Crown
Tourney. The highlighted time period will be 1492-1600. I would like to
solicit sponsors for the prizes for Best in Show and Best Knitted Woven or
Handspun Item. A sponsor is responsible for providing a prize and has the
option to participate in the judging and decision making for the winner of
that prize, but is not required to. It's a great way to support the
artists! At this time, if no sponsor for the Knitted Woven and Twisted
competition has come forward prior to Crown Tourney, the competition will be
dropped from the series. As the Tempore Deputy is unavailable this month,
please feel free to direct any questions to me.

If you've always wanted to sponsor a competition for Tempore Atlantia, now
is the best time to get on board for the series, beginning with Fall
Coronation. Always wanted to see more blacksmithing or tapestry work for
example? Now's your opportunity to get in on the action and give those
artisans a chance to shine. For those of you who are unaware of what the
Tempore Atlantia series is, please visit the MoAS webpage at
