[MR] Permanent Site for Crown Tourney

At this point, I feel that we have wandered too far off topic. There is a multitude of issues/questions/problems/fears that can be discussed about all of this. However, at this time the only real item on the table for debate is the concept of a permanent site for Crown Tournament (Fall and Spring). The site would be Betsy Jeff Penn 4H camp in Reidsville, NC. The hosting group would be determined by lottery. If the seated monarchs wish to move Crown, they will have that prerogative, as long as the new bid covers any fee that may be incurred from canceling.

 

Obviously, this idea of a permanent site can be expanded in many ways and those are all things to consider and to research in other Kingdoms. However, at this time, we are only looking at one site and one event (twice a year) to get started. Lets please focus on this and not expand the plan before we have even gotten started. If we go forward with this idea, the Kingdom Events Bid coordinator along with the Finance Committee will be involved. I am sure that Duke Cuan or Count Jason can help us with the legal end of things in NC. The Kingdom will be protected. 

 

So please...lets try and comment on the subject at hand so that we can move forward with the fist step and worry about the rest of it when we are ready.
