In the interest of having correct facts at hand, allow me to correct
some out-of-date information. Gorm wrote:

"and the
Kingdom's budget only has event proceeds to fund itself with (aside
from trivial interest income, and a newsletter stipend from Corporate
that doesn't even cover the costs of the Acorn) . . ."

It's certainly true that this is how the kingdom funds itself. It is
not true, however, that the Acorn is a drain on the kingdom's coffers,
as things currently stand. Corporate cuts a quarterly stipend check to
the Acorn, which covers printing and mailing costs. In the past year
and a half, expenses have been less than the stipend by a few hundred
dollars per quarter.
