[MR] Newbie- I have questions about tent outer decor - Alexandera Glaes Linden Kellehari

Who on earth said you couldn't have a yellow/blue tent?  There is a
well-known and large household in Atlantia, which predominantly uses
yellow/blue as a tent combination, so perhaps the speaker felt there might
be some unintentional association, however, unless your tent is sitting in
the middle of _their_ encampment, to make such an assumption is silly.  Just
as it would be to assume if you choose red and black, that you are from
House Ebonwoulfe.

You can make that tent out of any color combination you so desire.  Now, if
you pick purple and orange, it may be that the autocrat may stick you in the
back row, due to his/her own aesthetic taste, but...  ;-)

I'll leave the concept of which colors make for more comfort to someone who
has more experience in that area, but I bet they are right about the black
roof/panels making it hotter inside.

As for using Spike, yes, Spike is a populace badge, available for use by any
Atlantian (or ex-patriot) who so desires to show their allegiance to our
fair kingdom.
