Here in Trimaris, all Crown Lysts and Coronations are held at the 4-H camp in Ocala, which is in central Florida, about 45 miles north of the geographic center of the state.  Some other kingdom-level events are held there sometimes, too.  Most Barony of Darkwater (Orlando area) events are there.  The other four baronies have similar near-permanent sites for all of their events.

Groups bid to host Crown and Coronation, rather than it being a straight rotation.  There are, however, only 5 baronies in Trimaris, so they all do it pretty frequently.

Miami is 300 miles from Ocala.  There are no baronies in the southern end of the state, although there are some shires.  Jacksonville is 100 miles, Tallahassee is 200 miles away.  Even the closest major population centers, Orlando and Tampa, are 80 and 95 miles away.

I'm getting confused by some of the ideas passed around as alternate possibilities.

Has anyone created a list of what other kingdoms are doing to solve bidding issues?

It would be interesting reading to say the least.
