According to Google, it is 6h 6m from Cumberland, MD to Reidsville, NC. (Downtown to Downtown).  This is not much different than the 5h 58m drive up from Hilton Head, SC (and the mileage from Hilton Head is actually greater).  Geographically, Danville, VA is about as close as you can get to a Geographic center of Atlantia, period.  The site that we are talking about is 36 minutes from Danville.  It is near to all three of the I-81, I-85, I-40 and I-95 corridors.  People coming from western MD have no need to go anywhere near I-95.  My lady and I made the drive up I-81 to attend KASF recently and found it a pleasant and stress-free drive.

Here in Highland Foorde, we have members from Western Maryland that drive
anywhere from 2 to 4 hours just to get down to our own events around
Frederick.  For some to drive to BJ Penn Camp I believe it would involve 7-9
hours depending on traffic.  I am not sure if they are the furthest out
point but they have to be pretty close to it.
