Good Evening to the List;
First off, I would like to thank everyone who came out to Coronation this
weekend for making it such a wonderful time for all of us. Without you all
enjoying the event, all of our hard work would have been in vain. I would
specifically like to thank all of those who helped make this event work, my
staff and Their Majesties for all the hard work they put into making this
event go off so beautifully. And I am very appreciative of all those who
lent a hand cleaning the kitchen, washing and moving the tables, sweeping
and moping floors and helping keep the site as clean (or in the case of the
kitchen, cleaner!) than we found it. There are too many of you to thank
without leaving someone out, but I hope you all received my thanks at the
site. Without you all I would still be there cleaning up.
Second: lost and found. The following items were left at site: A Blue
half-cloak, a Youth Combat Hockey Glove, a pewter mug, two pairs of sun
glasses, a felt wide brimmed hat, a black fez-like hat with tassel. If you
left something, let me know and we can work out a way to get it to you.
Lastly, in reference to what is currently being discussed. It can be tough
to run an event out of barony, but it can be done. Even someone without a
lot of big event autocrating experience can do it. Coronation, like Crown,
can be staffed with people from all over the kingdom. I had people from all
different regions running key aspects of the event, and it worked just
fine. I would however suggest against having a single site liaison. But I
do like the idea of having a sort of guidebook for the site. That seems
like a very usefull idea.
